Pelvic Floor + Tushy Touch Up™: Putting the Puzzle Together for Complete Healing

Why Pelvic Floor Matters

Your pelvic floor supports bowel and bladder control, sexual function, and everyday comfort. When it’s weak, tight, or uncoordinated, you can experience leakage, constipation, pain, or incomplete emptying—often alongside skin tags or hemorrhoid after-effects.

How We Partner With Pelvic PTs & OB/GYNs

We collaborate with pelvic floor therapists, Urologist and and OB/GYNs to sequence care: first calm inflammation or address active problems (fissures, infections), then optimize pelvic floor function, and finally consider Tushy Touch Up™ for persistent excess tissue, folds, or cosmetic/comfort concerns. This team approach yields better outcomes and faster return to normal life.

When TTU Fits Into the Plan

TTU complements—not replaces—pelvic therapy. If wiping stays difficult, irritation persists, or intimacy remains uncomfortable due to excess tissue after you’ve optimized pelvic floor health, TTU can refine and restore comfort.

Local, Connected Care in Atlanta

We routinely co-manage patients with pelvic PT clinics, Urologists and OB/GYNs across Atlanta, Decatur, Smyrna, Douglasville, Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Vinings/Cobb, Buckhead, Midtown—and patients drive from Athens & Columbus, GA or Alabama for care that connects the dots.

What to Expect

Consultation includes a careful history and exam, discussion of therapy progress, and a clear, stepwise plan. If TTU is recommended, it’s typically a 45–60 minute outpatient procedure with straightforward recovery and detailed aftercare.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need pelvic floor therapy before TTU?
If symptoms suggest pelvic dysfunction such as leakage, constipation, or pain, therapy comes first. TTU is considered afterward for tissue-related issues.

Will pelvic PT remove skin tags or extra folds?
No. PT improves function and pain but does not remove excess tissue. TTU can address that once therapy progress is made.

Who manages my care?
We coordinate with your pelvic PT, urologist, and OB/GYN (with permission) to keep your care plan aligned.

Is TTU self-pay?
Yes. TTU is self-pay. Pelvic PT is often insurance-covered. Pricing and financing options, including CareCredit, are reviewed during your visit.
